Ethics Centre > PR Ethics Service - Ask the Experts!

What is it?
A new resource is now offered to PR practitioners who are members of the Global Alliance. This new service is designed to give practical advice to members facing an ethical challenge in their professional work.

How does it work ?

Simply follow these easy steps:

  1. Consult the existing case studies (pdf) on this site and determine the extent to which your situation may apply.

  2. If you do not find enough similarities with your situation, submit a new case to the experts on a confidential basis using the form (link below).

  3. The panel of experts will review your case; they will anonymise it to the extent possible to preserve your identity, and post a new case study on the website. This will be done as quickly as possible. Clarification may be sought by panel members as needed.

  4. You will be notified that a new case has been posted.

Who is on the expert panel?
The Global Alliance has assembled a team of practitioners with experience in dealing with ethical situations within their organisations, with clients and as volunteers to their PR association. Currently the members are:

John Aspery FIPR, FIABC, FACB, United Kingdom
Tom Brockett, APR, Fellow Prinz, New Zealand
Jim Lukaszewski, ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, United States
Chris Skinner, APR, Fellow PRISA, South Africa
Susan Davies, FPRIA, Australia
