A Global Alliance guide to understanding Public Relations in Germany

With a well-known intellectual tradition and a powerful industry, the Public Relations field in Germany is one of the most sophisticated in the world and certainly one of the most fascinating. Now, with the release of the German PR Landscape - a document containing facts, figures and key developments of the public relations sector with environmental and infra-structural information as complement - Public Relations professionals have an easy and one-stop resource to know more about the landscape for the practice of Public Relations in Germany.

The German Landscape results from a cooperation between members of the German Public Relations Association (DPRG - www.dprg.de) and the Global Alliance PR Landscapes project team, leaded by Prof. Juan Carlos Molleda from the University of Florida. The Global Alliance is proud to publish this document and thanks the special cooperation of Verena Kämpgen and Thorsten Luetzler from the “International PR” group at DPRG.

With the release of another document, the PR Landscapes series now features seventeen countries becoming one of the most important business guides available for those who need comprehensive and relevant data to practice Public Relations worldwide.

The Global Alliance target for this year is to produce at least 8 additional Landscapes, including areas of the world that have not been documented in existing trade or academic literature. More documents are already in the making, such as Colombia and Russia, and the GA encourages association members whose countries have not been profiled yet to submit their Landscapes

The PR Landscapes have proved to be useful to further understand the progress of the public relations practice globally. For further information, please contact the coordinators of the project Juan-Carlos Molleda (jmolleda@jou.ufl.edu) or Jean Valin (valinj@tc.gc.ca).
