Global Alliance welcomes new members The Consejo Profesional de Relaciones Públicas de la República de Argentina - Professional Council of Public Relations from the Republic of Argentina (PCPRA) has just been accepted as the most recent Global Alliance full member. With almost 50 years of history, the Council is active in representing PR professionals, students and consultancies. With more than 300 members, the PCPRA has its own code of ethics and gives a great deal of attention to PR professionalism and to supporting research to develop the PR activity. The Institute for Public Relations (IPR) has also reinforced its relationship with the Global Alliance becoming an associate member. The IPR is an independent non profit bridging the academy and the profession, supporting research and making it available to a worldwide community through PR education. The IPR is one of the most reputed institutions producing research-based knowledge in PR and has been doing it for the last 51 years. Although the IPR is not a membership-based organization it has partnered with several professional associations in the past and has been a regular Global Alliance partner. |
