Meet the leaders awarded with GA scholarships for Executive Master Program

The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management proudly announced the identity of the four applicants of the Executive Master of Science in Communications Management Program (MScom) awarded with the “Global Alliance Scholarship”. The MSCom program is run by the University of Lugano, Switzerland, and the Scholarship, valued in 50% of the tuition fee for the 07-09 edition, was created to support applicants living and working outside of Switzerland.

The four lucky winners are Ms. Claudia Bocelli (Italy), Mr. Sukanti Ghosh (Sultanate of Oman), Ms. Kornelia Kneissl (Germany) and Ms. Karin Fischer (Italy).

Ms. Claudia Bocelli is a Research Consultant at the CFI Group & Gpf in Milan, Italy. Her experience as Market Analyst positions her as a candidate with strong analytical and information processing skills dealing mostly with data and business reports. She has mostly been working in sectors like Telecommunications, Utilities, B2B and Refining.

Mr. Sukanti Ghosh is Head Corporate and Marketing Communications at the BankMuscat SOG in the Sultanate of Oman. His vast professional experience has led him to work in multicultural environments like India and the Middle East. He found the Lugano Master while prospecting continuous learning opportunities for his team of nine members and was attracted by “the maturity of the programme content, its structure and layering and teaching methodology.

Ms. Kornelia Kneissl is Owner of K2K Agentur für Markenkommunikation in Munich, Germany. With a strong background working in PR related functions with major companies in Germany; she has developed a close relationship with the Transport sector. After building her own agency, she has worked in the Leipzig bid for the 2012 Olympic Games and in many strategic consultancy projects related with innovation and technology.

Ms. Karin Fischer is a Consultant at Methodos in Milan, Italy, mainly working in the fields of management consultancy and training related and with a special focus on change management processes. As many of her projects imply distance working at an international level, she is also keen to learn from different cultural environments and privileges her listening, negotiating and mediating skills.

Colin Farrington, GA Chair, underlines that these are “professionals with great leadership potential, assessed by the quality of an essay submitted in support of the application, and proven track record of successes, i.e. educational and professional background.”

Nina Volles, Managing Director of the Executive Master of Science in Communications Management, explained, that the cooperation with the Global Alliance “has been crucial to expanding the scope of our participant base” and reinforces the Master’s “commitment to prepare communication managers to work in an international environment.”
