Description The Mexican Association of Public Relations Professionals is announcing an International Congress in Mexico City to discuss “Reputation, Social Responsibility and Environmental Care”.

One of the most interesting points in the event will be the Official Presentation of the updated "Mexican Statement of Public Relations", an important document containing important contributions to a better understanding of Public Relations initially presented in 1978. The new document will try to enforce a contemporary understanding of Public Relations taking into account the reality of Latin America.

Description The Euroblog 2008 is a joint initiative between Edelman and EUPRERA. The EUPRERA Spring Symposium (March 13-15, 2008)- brings together the latest academic thought with leading edge practice from Europe, the USA and elsewhere to draw new theoretical insights and encourage and shape practitioner innovation and implementation.

By identifying and presenting examples of best practice, empirical investigation and new concepts for modelling and understanding the rapid changes in relationship management, EuroBlog 2008 will shape the agenda for social media discussion.

The EuroBlog surveys of 2006 and 2007 highlighted the ways in which interactive social media technologies – weblogs, podcasts, wikis, social networking and other social softwares and services - were beginning to impact on communication.
